CM flays liquor addiction

TRIPUNITHURA: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said that uncontrolled addiction towards liquor has begun to defame the Kerala society.     He said that we lost the glorious status of a role model as there was a sharp increase in the number of persons who were addicted to liquor.  He was inaugurating the Sharada Krishna Centre for Women Empowerment and the library formed by the centre. “We are ready to revise the existing liquor policy if it contains any clause which will act as a boost for addicted people,” he said.
