KOCHI: The fourth Kerala Children’s Educational Film festival organised by the State Institute of Educational Technology will be held on November 14,15 and 16 at Kozhikode. Films made by students and for the students will be exhibited.The festival is aimed at imparting skills on filmmaking to students, encouraging the various film projects undertaken by the students and providing a platform for the students to exhibit their films. The films will be categorised as primary, secondary, senior secondary and Block Resource Centre. The best films produced by the students in the primary, secondary, senior secondary and block resource centre categories will be awarded a cash prize of Rs1 lakh. The best films produced for the students under the above categories will be awarded Rs 50,000. Workshops and seminars will also be held.
