Former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy alleged that Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar has no control over his Cabinet colleagues.
The JD(S) state unit president told reporters here on Sunday that he had telephoned Shettar to discuss the state road transport employees agitation, however the CM expressed his helplessness stating that Deputy Chief Minister R Ashok who also holds the portfolio of Transport Ministry, was reluctant to honour his orders in resolving the deadlock. The KSRTC employees unions were seeking better salary.
“Subsequently, I contacted Ashok urging him to hold discussions to resolve the issue following which he held meetings with the union leaders,” he said.
Kumaraswamy rued that apathy of the BJP leaders had caused worry among the people of the state because of which they experienced hardship.
