In the second Naxal strike in 24 hours in Chhattisgarh, two CRPF personnel were killed in a landmine blast.
New Delhi: There was a second Naxal strike in Chhattisgarh within 24 hours on Tuesday. Two CRPF jawans were killed in a landmine blast in the Bijapur district.
Earlier on Monday, one CRPF jawan was killed and five were critically injured when the Naxals blew up a mine-protected vehicle in the Dantewada district.
The mine-protected vehicle was totally damaged in the explosion which is suspected to have been carried out by triggering an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) kept under the road on which the vehicle rolled over, a senior official said.
