CBI inspects mining areas

BELLARY: The CBI teams probing the illegal mining by Obulapuram Mining Company (OMC) visited its mining lease areas and Antaragangamma Konda Mines (AGK) on Thursday.Three CBI teams, led by ASP Khan who arrived in Bellary on Wednesday night, visited the  mining border areas on Thursday morning.It is said that while two teams were busy visiting and inspecting the extent of lease encroachment and amount of iron ore exported, the other team conducting meeting with transport operators of the district.
