Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court on Friday quashed ACB court order against Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu in cash for vote scam.
Petioner and YSRCP MLA Ramakrishna Reddy told CNN-News18,"The court said there is no locus standi and it can't come under Prevention of Corruption Act. We will appeal in Supreme Court."
The ACB special court had directed the probe agency to reinvestigate the case against Chandrababu Naidu on a private complaint filed by YSRC MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy, who alleged involvement of Chandrababu Naidu in the cash for vote scam case.
After this, Chandrababu Naidu had moved a criminal petition seeking to quash the order passed by the ACB court in High Court.
In 2015, TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was caught red-handed by ACB authorities while he was offering bribe to TRS MLA Stephenson. Later a phone call recording also emerged with alleged voice of CM chandrababu Naidu, assuring his full support.
