Cancel Polavaram contract: TDP

HYDERABAD: Telugu Desam Party has reiterated that the contract given to SEW-Patel for executing Rs 4,714 crore Polavaram Indirasagar Project on Godavari river be cancelled forthwith.TDP leader and former irrigation minister Kadiam Srihari said the joint venture which was awarded the contract had violated rules and tender norms.Srihari said he was in possession of documents that suggested the funds had flown from SEW to Intercontinental Infrastructure and from there to Namasthe Telanagana, a newspaper in which TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao has benami interests.
