Call to reject Syamala Gopinathan report

ALUVA: Over 2,000 members of the Ernakulam district committee of the National Savings All Kerala Mahila Pradhan Agents Association took out a rally and held a convention here on Wednesday demanding rejection of the Syamala Gopinathan Report.
They also demanded protection of the National Savings Scheme and increasing the interest rate on Post Office deposits.K P Dhanapalan MP inaugurated the convention. Municipal chairman M T Jacob presided over the meeting. Former union minister P C Thomas delivered the keynote address.
