Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa is elated by the Supreme Court’s verdict. Speaking to reporters here on Monday, he expressed happiness over the verdict and said that he and his family would continue to cooperate with the CBI in its inquiry.“I am happy that the Supreme Court has dismissed the CBI petition. My family and I have been cooperating fully with the CBI. Even then, it (the CBI) went to the SC seeking cancellation of the bail. This has saddened me,” he said.
Yeddyurappa is now planning to embark on his proposed state-wide tour.It being said that Yeddyurappa is planning to quit BJP if the party high command does not restore his prominence in the state unit by making him state BJP president. Prior to taking any final decision on quitting the party he wants to test the water by touring the state.“There is no need to attach political motive to my state-tour. The main object of my tour is to respond to the problems of the people,” he clarified.
To Meet Advani
A day after BJP senior leader LK Advani made a reference about the bungling in state BJP in his blog, former cheif minister B S Yeddyurappa on Monday said that he would soon meet the former and apprise him about the party affairs.
