CHENNAI: It looks like Aussie speedster Brett Lee is open to the idea of acting in a B-town flick. Thanks to his strikingly fast performances with the Kolkata Knight Riders and his proximity to Shah Rukh Khan, this just might become a reality very soon. Responding to fans’ questions for a whole hour on Twitter from right here in Chennai, he seemed the most laid back of the KKR lot, hours before the IPL final against the Chennai Super Kings.Asked if he would consider acting in an Indian movie, he tweeted back, “Yeah definitely. If we win tonight I’ll be talking with Shah Rukh Khan for a movie deal,” and topped it off with a smiley. If it actually becomes a reality, this will be his second shot at Bollywood after his blink-and-miss role in Harman Baweja’s film *Victory*. Admitting that he’d seen quite a few “comedies”, especially involving IPL team owners King Khan and Preity Zinta, he seemed very impressed, “They rock. Preity Zinta aka *sundar ladki* is a great actor,” he said. He might just find it easier with his Hindi getting better (“My Hindi is *thoda thoda*!”), but his dancing could be a hurdle to his Bollywood dreams, “I can’t dance because I’ve got two left feet. Sunil Narine would be better with natural Caribbean rhythm,” he tweeted.Conceding that he has way more fans in India than in Australia, he had to fend off quite a few women who came with marriage proposals, “I keep getting proposals,” he tweeted. “A few on Twitter, a few on Facebook, a few on (the) streets,” he said but added, “appreciate the offer ... No plans on marriage at this point of time #stillsingle.” Though the women were disappointed they didn’t probe too much about his divorce from ex-wife Elizabeth Kemp.Constantly in and out of the country to spend time with his music-therapy foundation in Mumbai ‘Mewsic’, Brett Lee said that he would keep coming back to India even after he retired. And then came the golden question — How long does he plan to keep playing? “Good question. Not sure. Will see how the next 12/18 months go and if I keep doing well and enjoying myself,” he tweeted.Tweeting back with as much pace as he handles the white ball, @BrettLee-58 managed to set Twitter’s number rolling. The hashtag #AskBinga (Binga being the nickname for the 35-year-old pacer) managed to become the top trending topic in India and hit No 3 in the world in the hour-long time frame.
