However, the country-made bomb which was kept in an isolated place did not have any explosives in it.“We also conducted search in the nearby places, but could not recover anything. A fake phone call about a high-capacity bomb in Kalamassery spoiled the Onam for the policemen.

Following the call, the police spotted the place where the ‘bomb’ was planted.
