Vidya Balan: Fed up of link ups

Vidya Balan is shooting with Arshad Warsi in Wai. Being with Arshad comes as a relief for Vidya.

"Vidya is happy that this time the media will not be able to link her with her costar. Arshad is a friend, also he is married with two kids. So she is glad that she will be spared link ups this time," a source said.

Vidya was earlier linked with Shahid Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and John Abraham .

That's practically every other co star she has worked with. No wonder, Vidya is fed up!

Vidya Balan bonds with the Heyyy Babyy team

Though she had had a hard day shooting and traveling, Vidya Balan made it a point to attend good friend and designer Shabinaa Khan's birthday. Vidya was dressed in a simple salwaar kameez and had kept a natural look. She was flooded with compliments.

Her skin was glowing and friends Akshay began teasing her saying, "Love was certainly the reason for the glow on her face."

Who was that someone special, they all wanted to know!

Vidya played around for a while insisting that there wasn't anyone and that she was happy to be single. But her friends insisted on knowing that someone special's name. Vidya finally let the secret out. "The guy's name is—a relaxed good night's sleep," Vidya said laughing.

Vidya Balan's walk on the wild side

Vidya Balan is having a wonderful time shooting in Wai. Unlike other actresses who like to remain holed up in their vans in between shoots, Vidya loves spending time with nature. A unit member revealed, "Vidya loves to be in a natural environment. She enjoys nature walks in between shots. She'd rather sit in the greenery and soak in its beauty than be stuck in the van. Vidya finds the entire experience to be meditative and absolutely soothing."

Even when not shooting, Vidya doesn't idle away her time!

"Vidya goes for these long walks on the roads of Wai. So if you spot someone in tracksuits with an ipod and speakers hooked into her ears, walking away briskly, you know who it is," laughs the unit member.

Viday's staff does accompany for her brisk walks.

"We cannot take any risks. What if she gets mobbed," says a staff member.

Vidya believes that natural environment is the best environment.

Sophie to set a record

Sophie Chaudhary is an avid reader. Bring up the topic of books and you learn that Sophie has finished six books in just four days.

"I am quick reader! I have this uncanny ability to grasp things very quickly. Thus I could finish six books in four days that included two books by Laura Weiseberger, a book by Chetan Bhagat, Paulo Cohelo's latest novel, a book by Sophie Kinsella and a Mitch Albom book," Sophie smiles.

If a story of the novel is engrossing there is nothing that can shake Sophie out of it. "The book becomes my world. I cannot think beyond that and not rest till I have finished reading it."

Sophie's adds, "My favourite book is One Hundred years of Solitude by Gabriel Garcia Marquez. But .my all time favourite is Sophia Lauren's autobiography."

Ask her why and Sophie promptly replies, "Because it has a signature that says to Sophia with love Sophia."
