MUVATTUPUZHA: The mortal remains of Cyril P Joy, 25, a nurse with Apollo Hospital, Delhi, who died in the Faridabad air ambulance aircraft crash on Wednesday, were brought to Cochin International Airport, Nedumbassery, at 7.00 pm on Thursday.
Cyril Punnackapadavil, Kavana, near Vazhakulam, Moovattupuzha, the only son of JoyReethamma couple, was working in Apollo Hospital, Delhi, for the last five years. He was about to leave for Kuwait as a male nurse and was waiting for a visa.As soon as the report of the incident was conveyed to his family members here, Joy's cousins George and Rogy left for Delhi. The relatives accompanied the body from Delhi in the Jet Airways flight. Hundreds of relatives, friends and local residents from Avoli, the native panchayat of the deceased, thronged the airport when the body of Cyril was brought here. The funeral will be held at the St George Forane church cemetery in Vazhakkulam at 10 am on Friday.
