Body of 7-year-old woman found hanging from tree

The body of an elderly woman was on Monday found hanging from a tree in Bharthana area, police said.

The body of 70-year-old Shrivati was found hanging from a tree outside Ramayan village today morning, station in-charge B S Yadav said.

He said that initially it was suspected that the woman was killed and hanged, but her son Teekaram informed that she committed suicide.

Teekaram said that Shrivati was ill for a long time due to which she committed suicide, Yadav said.
