BANGALORE: In three separate accidents involving BMTC buses, a 67-year-old woman and two men were killed on the spot in the city.Lalithamma, a resident of Vidyaranyapura, was killed after she was hit by a BMTC bus in Vidyaranyapura on Friday evening. The police said that the woman was waiting for her friend on roadside, when a speeding BMTC bus knocked her down. Though she was admitted to a nearby hospital, she succumbed to injuries after a few hours. The bus driver is absconding after the incident.Prabhu (26), a resident of D J Halli, was killed after a BMTC bus ran over him on Dinnur Main Road in R T Nagar traffic police station limits, on Friday night. He was doing tiles work in under construction buildings.The police said that he was on his way to home when the incident occurred. A BMTC bus belonging to 17th BMTC bus depot and plying between Kaval Byrasandra and Hampinagar hit his bike from behind. Eventually Prabhu fell from the bike and the bus ran over his head killing him on the spot.In another incident, Anand (28), a resident of Koramangala, was knocked down by a BMTC bus near S R Nagar first main on Mission Road on Saturday evening.
