BANGALORE: Learning from its past mistakes, the ruling BJP has decided to teach discipline its legislators and MPs, for which an orientation camp has been organised at Murudeshwar on August 2 and 3.
The programme, to be called as "Abhyasa Varga" will focus on three issues improving the image as well as style of functioning of the legislators, making MLAs to strictly follow party's ideology and preparation for the next Assembly elections by effectively taking state government's programmes to the people."In our eagerness to build the party, we have taken in all sorts of people. Now there is a need to make them understand and follow party discipline and ideology," a senior party functionary said.

The party is also planning to strengthen itself at the grassroots. As a first step in this regard, a convention of party functionaries from every zilla panchayat will be organised soon. "We will announce the date and place of the convention after party's executive committee meeting to be held in Hubli."
