BANGALORE: The High Court has directed the Bangalore City Police to file objections to the petitions filed by bar girls against the police authorities for allegedly restraining them from performing their duties in bars and restaurants in the city and adjourned the further hearing of the case to July 18.On July 8, bar girls Kajol and others, had contended that the police were interfering with their work and they were not allowed to enter the bar premises to continue with their profession.The petitioners had also submitted that the police action was a violation of Article 19 (1) (g) and Article 21. Justice Mohan Shanthanagowdar ordered the city police to file a petition in writing.
