Bar Council Jubilee fete from November 5

CUTTACK: The Orissa State Bar Council is all set to celebrate its golden jubilee on November 5 and 6. Justice Altamas Kabir of Supreme Court, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Union Minister for Corporate Affairs Veerappa Moily are expected to attend the function.The celebrations would involve seminars on contemporary legal issues. Supreme Court Judge Justice P Sathasivam, former Chief Justice of India GB Patnaik, law ministers, judges, jurists, lawyers and law students will be taking part in the seminars and other functions, secretary JK Samantasinghar said.
