Bangalore: The Bangalore Police is yet to make headway in the murder of an HR Manager on a multinational company, who was found murdered gruesomely in his eighth floor apartment on Sunday.
The Manager - Saurabh Rastogi - originally from Lucknow, has been working with Genpact in Bangalore for the last couple of years. His wife was away visiting relatives in Pune and he was alone in his apartment late on Saturday night when the murder is suspected to have taken place.
Though the house was ransacked, police suspect it was a premeditated murder. The victim's wife had been repeatedly calling him on Saturday night and Sunday morning, and then asked a neighbour to check on the house as there was no response. That was when an alarm was raised and police forced open the flat to discover the body.
