Bangalore: At least two persons including a child feared dead in a building collapse in Bangalore on Tuesday morning. According to police an old building collapsed in Audugodi area of the city.
Many more people are feared trapped in the debris. Four seriously injured people have been rushed to St. John's Hospital. Fire tenders have been rushed to the spot and the rescue operations are on. According to local people, a power short circuit has caused fire, resulting in the collapse of the building.
The Mayor of Bangalore Sathyanarayana visited the spot and announced a compensation of Rs 1 Lakh each to the dead.
