KOCHI: : Leading laptop computer manufacturer ASUS Technology opened its exclusive retail outlet in Kochi on Wednesday. The outlet in the PFC Building on MKK Nair Road, Palarivattom, features the entire range of notebooks and netbooks that have been launched by the company in India till date.Alex Huang, Country Head, System Business Group, ASUS Technology Private Limited (India), inaugurated the store in the presence of Unaez Quraishi, director, Sales and Distribution, System Business Group-India, ASUS Technology Limited. “With our vision of leading the PC industry into a new era of thought, it was imperative to strengthen our retail presence. By opening retail outlets, ASUS is aiming at providing the opportunity to the customers to have firsthand information on its superior technology and product range,” Alex Huang said.Unaez Quraishi said that the company has already set up stores in New Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Kozhikode, Goa, Jaipur, Thane, Raipur, Bhilai, Gurgaon and Durgapur. The outlet in Kochi is the second one in Kerala, the first being the one in Kozhikode. “The company will be opening 100 outlets across the country in the coming six months,” Quraishi said.
