Army jawan dies fighting terrorists

ONGOLE: A pal of gloom descended on the small village of Istapuramsettipally in Giddalaru mandal as an Army jawan from the village Elluri Narayana Reddy (28) died in  Kashmir on Wednesday night fighting terrorists.The family got the information about the death of Reddy on Thursday morning. Reddy last visited the family on May 6 to see his sick son and left for Kashmir on May 9 spending three days with the family.According to information, Reddy son of Venkat Reddy, a mason, joined the Indian Army eight years ago when he was 20.He joined the Army on the wishes of his father who wanted his son to serve the country.Reddy is survived by his parents, wife and two sons.
