Trouble started on Wednesday evening when some villagers objected to playing of loud music at a marriage ceremony here. After a heated exchange of words, a group of villagers started pelting stones at the marriage party belonging to another community, leaving eight persons injured, police said on Thursday.
A case has been registered and 12 people have been arrested in this connection, they said. Tension prevailed in the village and security has been tightened with extra police force deployed.
