APTDC to launch luxury buses

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) is all set to launch six of its new luxury coaches in the coming days. Though the registration and other formalities related to these buses have been completed, the corporation is waiting for an occasion for the launch.“In an arrangement to replace its old and existing luxury coaches, APTDC had earlier purchased eight Mercedes Benz and eight Volvo buses. The delivery has been made for only six buses, which are ready for roads,” informed an official.These air conditioned ultra modern coaches have a seating capacity of 45 persons.APTDC will soon start four of these buses to Shirdi and two to Tirupati, replacing the existing ones. The tourism corporation has spent Rs 74 lakh each for the newly acquired buses.
