New Delhi: Close on the heels of announcing the launch of its India marketplace, Amazon.in today added three new categories to the marketplace - mobiles and accessories, cameras and photography, and portable media players.
With this announcement, there are now six categories of products on www.amazon.in including Books, Movies and TV shows and the Kindle family of E-readers, ebooks and Kindle Fire tablets.
The marketplace will now have a range of products - from mobile phones, tablets, digital cameras, camcorders, and MP3 players to lenses, tripods, and headsets, to cases & covers, camera bags, headphones and other accessories from brands like Nokia, HTC, Micromax, Blackberry, Samsung, Sennheiser, Panasonic, Sony, Canon and Nikon.
Amazon.in is Amazon's tenth marketplace launch and it provides Indian customers with a shopping destination to purchase products from third-party sellers.
