'Akaash Vani' Tweet Review: Luv Ranjan returns
Director Luv Ranjan's 'Akaash Vani' raises some serious issues about the conservative Indian middle class.

New Delhi: Their first film 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' was a surprise hit and connected instantly with the youth and now, director Luv Ranjan and actors Kartik Tiwari and Nushrat Bharucha are back with 'Akaash Vani'.

When 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' was released no one expected the film to do so well. There were six absolute newcomers as the leads and an unknown director associated to the film and yet the film managed to strike a chord with the youth. Its fresh appeal, its quirky lines were easily identified by today's generation.

While the team of PKP and 'Akaash Vani' remains the same, the makers insist that the two films are different. By the looks of the trailers, the film promises to be a college love story with a very fresh appeal.

Both, Katrik Tiwari and Nushrat Bharucha add amazing amount of freshness to the film and that perhaps is the USP of the film. Set in the backdrop of Delhi University, the film narrates the story of Akaash and Vani who fall in love while they are in college and how after their graduation, they struggle to keep their relationship alive.

But will 'Akaash Vani' live up to the expectations? Will it be able to repeat PKP's success story? Shomini Sen of IBNLive is inside the theatre to find out.
