New Delhi: The weather gods are not being kind to travellers at Delhi Airport this festive weekend.
For the moment though, the fog has cleared and flights are taking off on time from the Indira Gandhi International Airport.
Flight schedules were thrown out of gear due to the heavy fog cover on Saturday morning as the runway visibility at airport was below 75 metres.
The airport authorities assured that the backlog due to delays and cancellations would be cleared by 1600 hrs (IST).
However, even as the authorities struggled to cope with the mounting chaos, the passengers had to face a lot of inconvenience.
While most of them complained that the airlines had not informed them about the change in flight timings, others blamed the authorities for inadequate arrangements.
