A few new dolls this year include Thirupathi Brahmotsavam sets, Udupi Krishna, Varahi Amman, Kaigari Kalyana sets and Sakthi Ganapathi, among others.Deities aside, there are doll sets, illustrating many  popular fables like the hat peddler and the monkeys, the tortoise and the hare and many more. Cricket sets, marble peacocks and wooden dancers are also part of the expo M R Gopalakrishnan, managing director of Khadi Craft said that they were hoping for a sale of Rs 120 lakh this year. “We’ve conducted this exhibition for more than 40 years. Last year we sold dolls worth Rs 109 lakh. There will be more entrepreneurs coming to set shops later.
