New Delhi: A crucial witness in 1984 anti-Sikh riots case, Jasbir Singh, says he still fears for his life but will continue fighting for justice.
He says he will take up the case with the United Nations if needed. “P Chidambaram is a good man. Jarnail Singh was forced to take such a step, as there's been no justice for Sikhs even after 25 years. Both the judiciary and the government haven't taken our plight seriously. Congress is in power so they can do whatever they want to. CBI too has given Jagdish Tytler a clean chit but we will never forgive him. He is our greatest enemy. We will approach the High Court for justice, and if need be, we will also take the matter to the UN. If Congress is honest, they should remove from the party and also order a judicial probe into the matter and submit a report within three months. There are many witnesses who are willing to depose before the court but those in power threaten them. Even I was threatened. The CBI's DSP Kishore had accused me of lying in the past. Even now I keep getting threats by Congress party councilor Nathuram Nagar. I fear for my life as I know that they can get me killed any time in America”.
