2 new BMTC bus services launched

BANGALORE:  The Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) launched a new bus service named 201MD which will cover J P Nagar 6th Phase and 3rd Phase, 8th Main, BTM 16th Main , Central Silk Board, Madivala, Srinivagilu, Inner Ring Road and Domlur TTMC. The new service has six buses plying at an interval of 20 minutes. Also, a new service from J P Nagar 4th Phase (Dollar’s Colony) covering 8th Main, Jayanagar 9th block, Carmel Convent, Jayanagar Bus Stand, Lal Bagh Main Gate and Kempegowda Bus Stand will be launched from from October 3. The bus route number is 25K and it will be inaugurated at 9am by B N Vijayakumar, MLA, Jayanagar, S K Nataraj, former mayor and Chandrashekhar Raju, corporator of BBMP Ward No 177. Besides this, on the occasion of Bus Day, a new route named 316Y going from K R Puram to Devanahalli via Budigere and Baichapura will commence from October 3, BMTC sources said.
