BERHAMPUR: Elaborate arrangements have been made to check malpractice during the Board of Secondary Education examination starting on Monday. Special squads have been formed by the zonal office here.SC Behera, deputy secretary of the zonal office, said there are 35,675 and 4,492 registered regular and ex-regular examinees respectively, in Ganjam district. They will appear for the examination from 137 and 21 centres respectively.About 14 prisoners of the Circle Jail here, including four convicts and 10 UTPs, will also appear for the examination. However, there is simmering discontent among the parents here, as the students have been allotted examination centres more than 15 km away from their school. The zonal office is aware of the problem, but there is no time for reconsideration, said office sources.
