HYDERABAD: In road accidents that took place in various parts of the state, 13 persons lost their lives while 19 others sustained injuries on Saturday.In Khammam district, six persons, including four women, died and eight others were injured after a seven- seater autorickshaw collided with a private bus at Somavaram village in Wyra mandal. "The accident took place when the autorickshaw travelling to Madhira from Wyra had a head on collision with the bus," police said.In East Godavari district, two persons died and 11 others suffered injuries when the tractor in which the marriage party was travelling overturned.In one other similar incident, two persons died when the car in which they were travelling on the Hyderabad- Bangalore highway overturned at Jellapur village."The victims were travelling to Nandyal in Kurnool district from Hyderabad," police added.In Nizamabad district, three persons died when their scooter hit a truck near Achampalli under Bodhan mandal.Contractor’s Body Found Hyderabad: A body of a civil contractor was found lying in a pool of blood in an open place at KPHB on Friday night. Cyberabad police said the deceased was identified as K Ashok (19), a resident of Hydernagar in KPHB.
