The seventh season of Bigg Boss Tamil is breaking tradition by introducing its first-ever elimination in the opening week. In the previous six seasons, the first week had no elimination. It was reserved for contestants to familiarise themselves with one another. This season will witness a contestant leaving the house, right at the first week. The show’s production team has unveiled a promotional video of the 8th day from the Bigg Boss house on October 9.
In the clip, we can see the show’s host Kamal Haasan taking a dig at contestant Vishnu Vijay Varma for his use of inflammatory language and violent threats within the house. The clip showcases Vishnu engaging in a heated exchange with Saravana Vikram, the house captain, while Pradeep also joins the argument.
For those not familiar with the situation, Vijay Varma, who is a professional dancer, issued a threat of physical violence, stating that he would break the jaw of any housemate who pushed him. He asserted that he would respond with his elbow if anyone invades his personal space. Vijay’s language was intense, and he even went as far as warning those who harmed him within the house would face repercussions from his friends, once they were outside of it.
Saravana Vikram has been designated as the captain of the week. Meanwhile, Bhava Chelaturai, Vishnu Vijay, Vijay Varma, Kool Suresh, Aishu, Maya, and Pradeep have been sent to the Small Bigg Boss house this week, due to their inability to make a strong impression on the captain.
Among the eighteen participants in Bigg Boss Tamil 7, seven contestants found themselves nominated for elimination right on the first day. These individuals include Raveena, Ishu, Pradeep Antony, Jovika, Bava Chellathurai, Yugendran, and Ananya Rao. It’s worth noting that Bava, Yugendran, and Ananya are currently at risk of eviction, whereas Raveena has garnered the maximum votes so far.
After a week in the Bigg Boss house, popular writer Bava Chelladurai has decided to exit the show due to health-related concerns. Bava Chelladurai was among the nominees last week and was sent to the Small house for the second consecutive time, a situation that appears to have taken a toll on his physical and mental well-being. It’s worth noting that contestants placed in the Small Bigg Boss house are tasked with cooking and cleaning responsibilities and are restricted from participating in any tasks.
