- Don't submit videos that can be construed as harassing others, being harrassed, or any other misconduct. Make sure to read all the rules before submitting.
- Open the AFV mobile app and go to the upload section.
- Choose the video on your iPhone to upload, then tap "Submit."
Do not send videos if they could be understood as being harassing others or hurting themselves or seeing others being hurt. If the video could be viewed and moderated as the next action is calling the police on the sender, it's probably unwanted. While it's funny to send something hilarious, having others see someone getting hurt or others hurting someone else is just plain stupid. View the Contest Rules link at the bottom of the screen. This is found between "Video Submission Tips & Tricks" and "Terms of Use" (and) "Privacy Policy." This will tell you what types of videos will not be aired and will not be able to be sent for consideration for the show.
Open the AFV app. The AFV app on your iPhone has a white background and has a set of 3D letters "AFV!" gracing the background.
Get to the upload screen. Tap the menu bar in the top left corner, then tap "Upload Video," which should be found between "Favorites" and "Kids Mode."
Enter the app's information for their "Step 1: Choose Video" portion. Type a title and a description. However, as is said in the Description, keep it short, simple, and sweet. Make these items eye-catching. If the video is a girl falling into a swimming pool, title it "Girl Falls into Swimming Pool" as the title, and explain it in no more than 2 sentences for the description.
Choose the video you'd like to send into AFV. Tap the "Choose Video" button just below the Description box, find the video and upload it from your device. If you later uploaded the wrong file, tap the "Wrong file? Tap here to choose a different video."
Type in the contact details for the app's conditions for AFV's Step 2. They will need your first and last name, email address (with a secondary confirmation email typing), age, gender, phone, mailing address, city, state, and zip code. If you are from another country, tap the box initially filled with "United States" and use the slider drop-down at the bottom of the screen to select your country.
Fill out the legal terms in the AFV Step 3 section. You have to be at least 18 years of age to submit a video, and that you are giving them the okay that you have shot this video and that they will now have the rights to use it wherever they feel necessary - if it's even used at all. Click the checkbox to the right of this statement. Videos uploaded and submitted will be the property of Cara Communications, Corp - the AFV producer worldwide.
Tap the "Submit to AFV" button at the bottom of the screen. You'll find this box between the checkbox for "Sign up for our weekly newsletter and always get the latest videos and more." and the link for "Video Submission Tips & Tricks."
