How to Use a Storage Locker in Animal Crossing: New Leaf
Storage lockers in Animal Crossing: New Leaf allow you to store items and access them from different places. They are very useful for managing a large inventory of furniture, fruit, or whatever it is you might have lying around.
Steps

Find a storage locker. In order to use a storage locker, you must first find one. Thankfully, there are many already in the game. There is one storage locker located in the train station to the right. There is another on the second floor of the museum in the gift shop (if you’ve built it). There may be one in your house. If you have any furniture that has “closet,” “wardrobe,” or “dresser” in its name, chances are it is a storage locker. This isn’t a hard and fast rule, but applies most of the time. You cannot use these in other villagers houses, it must be your own.

Open the storage locker. Once you have found a storage locker, use it by pressing A. The interface will pop up, and you will notice that there are three different sections: A, B, and C. The difference sections allow you to organise your items however you please. Each of these sections has six tabs of ten open slots. Thus, you can potentially store 180 items in a storage locker. However, remember that all of these storage lockers are connected. If you put three items in your storage locker at home and then go to the train station and open that storage locker, you will see those same three items.

Store your items. To put items in the storage locker, simply drag and drop the items from your character’s inventory.

Remove items from the storage locker. To get items back out, do the same action as putting items in: drag and drop the items from the locker to your character’s inventory.

What's your reaction?
