Open Pinterest. It’s a red and white icon containing a “P” in a circle. You’ll typically find it on your home screen. If you don’t have Pinterest, you can download it for free from the App Store.
Tap the notifications icon. It’s the chat bubble containing three dots at the bottom of the screen.
Tap Inbox. It’s a tab at the top of the screen.
Tap New Message. It’s near the top of the screen beneath the “Inbox” tab.
Enter a recipient. To do so, tap the Search box, then start typing the name of someone on Pinterest. When the correct person appears in the search results, tap their name. You can add up to 10 recipients.
Tap Next. It’s the red button at the top-right corner of the screen.
Type a message. Tap the box next to the pushpin at the bottom of the screen to start typing.
Tap Send. Your message will be delivered to your recipient(s).
