How to Draw a Gravestone

Draw a vertical rectangle.

Draw a line from the top left corner slanting down to the left. Draw a line from the bottom left corner slanting up to the left. Draw a vertical line connecting the two slanted lines.

Draw a curved line from the top left corner of the original rectangle to the top right corner. Draw a curved line from the top left corner of the slanted line to the center of the first curved line.

Draw a horizontal rectangle on the inside of the first rectangle towards the top of the image.

Write R.I.P for "Rest In Peace."

Draw an outline around the inside of the first rectangle.

Draw some wings under R.I.P.

Draw some grass around the gravestone so that it looks like it's in an environment.

Draw crisper lines over top of the image, adding texture to the stone by drawing dots around the base.

Finally, erase the unnecessary lines from your under-drawing and color it.
