Using an iPhone or iPad
Open your iPhone or iPad's Settings app. Find and tap the iPhone Settings App Icon icon on your home screen to open Settings.
Tap your name at the top. Your full name is listed next to your iCloud avatar at the top of the Settings menu.
Scroll down and tap the device you want to remove. You'll find a list of all your saved devices here. Tapping a device will open its details on a new page.
Scroll down and tap Remove from Account. This is a red button at the bottom of the Device Info page. You will have to confirm your action in a new pop-up window.
Tap Remove in the confirmation pop-up. This will remove the selected device from your iCloud account. It will no longer be able to use iCloud or other Apple services.
Using a Computer
Open the iCloud website in an internet browser. Type www.icloud.com into your browser's address bar, and hit ↵ Enter or ⏎ Return on your keyboard.
Sign in to your Apple ID on the iCloud website. Use your Apple ID email address and password to sign in to iCloud in your browser. If this is your first time signing in to iCloud in this browser, you may have to verify your identity. To verify, you will receive a prompt, and a verification number on your iPhone, Mac, or other Apple device. Tap Allow, and enter the code to verify in your browser.
Click Settings in iCloud. It looks like the iPhone Settings App Icon icon. This will open your Apple ID settings on a new page.
Click the device you want to remove. All your saved devices are listed under the "My Devices" heading here. Click any device to open the Devices window in a pop-up.
Click the x icon next to the device you want to remove. You'll find a list of all your devices on the left-hand side of the Devices pop-up. Select a device, and click the "x" to delete it from your account. If you don't see the "x" button, click Remove Device below the device's serial number. You will have to confirm your action in a new pop-up window.
Click the Remove button in the confirmation pop-up. This will confirm your action, and delete the selected device from your iCloud account.
