This wikiHow teaches you how to enable iCloud Backup on your iPhone, a feature that backs up your apps, personal data, and settings.
Open your iPhone’s Settings. It’s the iPhone Settings App Icon typically found on the home screen.
Tap your name. It’s at the top of the Settings menu.
Scroll down and tap iCloud. It’s near the middle of the menu.
Scroll down and tap iCloud Backup. It’s the blue-green icon with a curved arrow inside.
Slide the “iCloud Backup” switch to iPhone Switch On Icon. A confirmation message will appear, letting you know that your phone will no longer automatically back up to iTunes when you plug it in to your computer.
Tap OK. Now that you’ve iCloud Backup, your apps, personal data, and settings will always stay backed up.
