Renting has become the new trend, a very practical choice in an era defined by a fast-paced, busy lifestyle

In the dynamic landscape of today’s job market, young couples find themselves chasing opportunities from city to city. Renting has become the new trend, a very practical choice in an era defined by a fast-paced, busy lifestyle. Why settle down somewhere when your career might take you to places- literally!

But amidst this busy lifestyle, the struggle for access to clean, safe, and healthy drinking water still remains. “Many young couples, I observe, rely on water cans for their daily hydration needs. The inconvenience of waiting, frequent calls to the water can supplier, and the constant fear of running out of water create a constant source of frustration, especially for those juggling demanding jobs,” says Vijender Reddy, co-founder and CEO, DrinkPrime.

After a long day at work, the last thing anyone desires is to engage in the hassle of ordering water cans. The long process involves checking delivery statuses, coordinating timings, or engaging in debates over who should carry the heavy water cans up multiple flights of stairs.

“All this for water whose safety remains questionable, stored in plastic water cans exposed to the sun, dirt, and rain for long periods. Not to mention the source of this water often remains a mystery,” adds Reddy.

The question then arises- Why waste so much time and energy for a fundamental necessity like clean water?

  1. Convenience is another advantage of renting- access to safe and clean water is no longer a nightmare. When you rent a water purifier, there’s no need to worry about delivery timings or engage in the physical labor of lugging heavy water cans. Instead, you enjoy 100% safe water anytime without the risk of running out of water.

  1. Safety is also a crucial benefit- Water cans, exposed to the UV rays of the sun and uncertain storage conditions, pose a risk to the quality of water. When exposed to sunlight for a long time, the UV rays break the plastic into small particles called microplastics that leach into your drinking water. Long-term consumption of water contaminated with microplastics leads to serious diseases in the long term like cancer, heart disorders, and reproductive problems.

Why put your health at risk unnecessarily?

And the best part? No more heavy lifting is required. After all, there are better workouts than the ones involving lifting water cans – like hitting the gym or enjoying a peaceful walk together.
