With Ancelotti in charge, Madrid make official bid for Gareth Bale
It has been learned that Real Madrid are willing to give players along with the money for Spurs' prized asset.

Spanish giants Real Madrid have been in pursuit of Tottenham Hotspurs Gareth Bale very vocally and it seems they are ready to for an official bid for the Welsh winger with newly-appointed boss Carlo Ancelotti in charge.

It has been learned that Real Madrid are willing to give players along with the money for Spurs' prized asset with winger Angel Di Maria among several stars the Los Blancos are willing to give up for Premier League's Player of the Year.

Ancelotti too had hinted at buying players at his introductory press conference. He had stated "This team is very good, but there could be some changes. But it doesn't need much." Tottenham on the other hand have not relented at all and have rejected selling Bale.

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas stated that the club has the pledge of Spurs chairman, Daniel Levy, that he will not let go of Bale from North London. Tottenham have a new deal on the table for Bale, who is currently on a holiday, worth £170,000-a-week.
