Manchester: English Premier League club Manchester United are lining up a bid for Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil. According to reports in Spain Real would be willing to let midfielder Ozil join United for around 38 million pounds.
The 24-year-old is said to be worried about losing match-time with the expected arrival of Gareth Bale from Tottenham and doesn't want to lose his starting place with the German national team keeping next year World Cup in mind.
United boss David Moyes is keen to land a midfield playmaker and Ozil will be perfect for their midfield. Red Devils have also been linked to Real's Luka Modric earlier in the week and Moyes will be hoping to get one of them at least.
With United yet to sign a player in the post-Ferguson era, questions are being asked about the effectiveness of Moyes and new chief executive Ed Woodward in the market.
