New Delhi: Spanish football club Real Madrid have signed up Dutch winger Arjen Robben and Argentine defender Gabriel Heinze.
While Arjen Robben has signed a five-year contract for $48.80 million, Heinze signed a $16 million deal with the Spanish champions.
Robben said he felt honoured to be one of the most expensive players ever to join Real Madrid.
Both are in line to make their Real debut on Saturday when the team kicks off its Spanish league title defence against Atletico.
The 29-year-old Argentine defender had wanted to leave Manchester United after 83 appearances for the club at the end of last season but his attempt to move to Liverpool failed.
Heinze had played in Spain for Valladolid before moving to Paris St Germain in 1999. He has been signed by Real as a substitute for left back Roberto Carlos who left the club for Fenerbahce last season.
Robben is the fourth most expensive Real signing behind 'Galacticos' Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo and Ronaldo.
He said that he was delighted to join Real Madrid after his stint with English Premier League club Chelsea.
