Pele not surprised on Capello getting England job
Italian Fabio Capello was confirmed as England's second foreign coach this week.

New Delhi: Football legend Pele is not surprised England have again opted for a foreign coach although he believes it would have once been unthinkable for some of his former adversaries.

Italian Fabio Capello was confirmed as England's second foreign coach this week after replacing Steve McClaren who was sacked last month.

McClaren took over from Swede Sven-Goran Eriksson after the 2006 World Cup finals.

Pele also admitted he had been invited to coach on many occasions but had never wanted to be a professional coach, preferring to work with the youth instead.

"If I was invited ?(laughs). Listen, I was invited from many countries. Every month, even in Brazil, they invite me to be coach. But I never wanted to be a coach. I want to work with the youth. In the future I think my retirement, in maybe one or two years from now, I'm going to work with the youth, as I do now with Santos - I have a small team. But I don't want to be a professional coach," Pele said.

What's your reaction?
