New Delhi: Manchester City are reportedly lining up another world class player with Inter Milan striker Adriano the latest man to be linked with a move to the club.
It has been made publically clear that the relationship between the Inter Milan striker Adriano and new boss Jose Mourinho is deteriorating by the day, as the Brazilian hitman seems to have returned to his ways of last season.
The striker has been left out of the squad and the starting line-up a number of times in recent games, and is reportedly considering a move away from the Nerazzurri if this situation does not change in the coming weeks.
The next transfer window opens in January and according to Tuttomercatoweb, Manchester City are ready to pounce on the troubled Brazilian, if given the opportunity.
Adriano was briefly linked with a move to City in the summer, however nothing eventuated from it. This time around, the thought of lining up with his fellow Brazilian Robinho may be enticing enough for the Inter man to finally make the move.
The coming few weeks could determine The Emperor's future. If he fails to make amends with Mourinho, then City will not hesitate to pull out all the stops to sign their man.
