Liverpool: Liverpool have agreed a deal for Blackpool midfield maestro Charlie Adam. The Scot has been linked with a move away from the Seasiders since the January transfer window with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the chase for the player's signature.
But a statement on the Red's official website confirmed: Liverpool Football Club on Thursday announced they have reached agreement with Blackpool for the transfer of Charlie Adam.
The player will now travel to Merseyside for a medical and to discuss personal terms.
Adam had a fantastic season with the Tangerines and was in the shortlist for the PFA players' player of the year 2011, however was powerless to prevent the club from suffering relegation in their maiden season in the Premier League.
The 25 year-old played 78 times for Blackpool scoring 28 goals in the process.
