Didier Drogba can be Liverpool's next signing. The Reds' forward line looks pretty weak right now with the departure of Andy Carroll and the club is now on the lookout for a free agent and that bring Drogba into the picture.
The former Chelsea striker joined China's Shanghani Shenhua in the summer and reports suggest he is having a hard time there with the management and that he is looking for a move.
The 34-year-old is currently on international duty with Ivory Coast but he would need to have his contract cancelled before becoming available on a free transfer.
The free agents walking around are Alessandro Del Piero (Juventus), Eidur Gudjohnsen (Stoke City) and Florent Sinama-Pongolle (Sporting Lisbon) but there is little chance of them going to Anfield. Piero is reportedly set to join Sydney FC; Sinama-Pongolle has fitness issues, while Gudjohnsen is woefully out of form. Looking at the overall picture, Drogba fits the bill, doesn't he?
