New Delhi: India beat Kyrgyzstan 3-0 at the Ambedkar Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday to reach the final of the ONGC Nehru Cup tournament.
It was an all attacking Indian team and captain Baichung Bhutia opened the scoring for his side with a brilliant goal in the 39th minute.
The second half saw an unmanned Sunil Chettri connect Steven Dias' pass to put it past the net to give India a 2-0 lead in the 60th minute.
The Kyrgyzstan defence had no answers to the Indian onslaught and caved in when Abhishek Yadav fired in the third goal to seal India's win in the injury time.
