'His Last Dance Will Be...:' William Gallas Makes Big Cristiano Ronaldo Prediction
Gallas feels that Ronaldo will keep representing Portugal even after the European Championships as the ex-French defender said that the next FIFA World Cup edition may turn out to be Ronaldo’s last international tournament.

Cristiano Ronaldo is set for a huge record tonight in the Euro 2024. The Portuguese football team will kick off their Euro 2024 campaign with a match against the Czech Republic at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig. Ronaldo will be the first footballer to feature in six European Championships. He scored a brace in Portugal’s 3-0 win against Ireland in a friendly game. While many feel that the Euro 2024 will be 39-year-old Ronaldo’s last big tournament for Portugal, former Premier League star William Gallas has a different view on this.

William Gallas feels that Cristiano Ronaldo will keep on representing Portugal even after the European Championships. The ex-French defender said that the next FIFA World Cup edition may turn out to be Ronaldo’s one last international tournament.

Speaking to the website Prime Casino, William Gallas said, “I think he will. He will be 41 when the next World Cup comes around, but, if you look at the shape that he’s in and the goals that he’s scoring, then I don’t see why he won’t be targeting that as well. Look at Pepe. He’s 41 and playing at this tournament – he will be the oldest ever player to appear at a European Championships.”

“Ronaldo will be looking at his inclusion and will think that he can do exactly the same thing. This tournament won’t be the last dance for Ronaldo – his last dance will be at the World Cup in two year’s time,” Gallas was quoted as saying by Goal.com

Gallas represented both Chelsea and Arsenal in the Premier League.

Ronaldo made his European Championship debut in 2004 and Portugal had reached the final back then but lost to Greece in the summit clash. In 2016, Ronaldo won the Euro title with Portugal beating France in the final. The former Manchester United and Real Madrid superstar holds multiple records in the history of the European Championship.

Ronaldo holds the records for the most number of goals (14) and most appearances (25) at the Euro. The Al Nassr forward also has the most number of goals 45 (including qualifying).
