Guardiola focused on Milan, not clasico final
The Champions League draw has thrown up the possibility of Real Madrid and Barcelona meeting in the final in May.

Barcelona: Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola claims that he is not even thinking about the prospect of a Champions League final clash with rivals Real Madrid, insisting that his sole concern is on getting past quarter-final opponents AC Milan.

Friday's draw in Nyon has thrown up the possibility of the Spanish rivals meeting in the tournament decider at the Allianz Arena in May, a development which has generated great excitement within the footballing community.

However, Guardiola insists that it would be foolish for Barca to look beyond Milan, a side who gave the Catalans plenty of trouble during their two encounters in the group stages of this season's competition.

“I’m not even thinking about the semi-final against either Benfica or Chelsea yet,” he exclaimed when asked about a potential meeting with Madrid in Munich during a press conference on Friday. “And the quarter-final will be very difficult in itself."

"Milan will be very tough; we'll need the support of the fans. They have experienced players, they create chances easily and have a good defence."

"But to win the Champions League, you have to beat the best. And Milan are one of the best."

Barcelona will travel to San Siro for the first leg on March 28 before welcoming the Rossoneri to Camp Nou for the return fixture on April 3.
